Anders Høegh is the President and founder of A Better Life Foundation, Inc. He was born in Oslo, Norway in 1954 and holds a B.A. of Business Administration and an M.B.A in International Finance. Joan Blackman was born in Los Angeles in 1954. She is a partner in International Corporate Art Holding and Director of the ICArt Miami office – an international art consultancy company that specializes in the cruise industry and other corporate venues. Holding a B.A. in Art History and an M.B.A. in International Marketing, Joan has over thirty years of working experience in advertising, brand management, international communication, and art consultancy. She currently sits on the Board for Locust Projects, an alternative, not-for-profit, exhibition art space, as well as the Children’s Bereavement Center, a wonderful organization that helps children who are grieving the loss of a loved one. MARCUS A. CHRISTENSEN
Marcus was born and raised in Oslo, Norway, but has been living in the US for over twenty years. After graduating high school from Ransom Everglades in Miami, FL, he went on to earn a Finance degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Professionally, Marcus has extensive experience in commercial real estate and finance. Most recently, he is a commercial real estate broker specializing in multi-family apartment buildings in Miami at Marcus & Millichap, the country’s leading investment sales firm. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he worked in the financial services industry in NYC where he served as Vice President of Equity Research Sales & Trading at Dahlman Rose & Co., now Cowen Group.
VICTORIA JACE CHRISTENSEN
Jace was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University with a BS/BA in International Economics and Psychology. She began her career in New York City where she gained broad experience in corporate finance, investment management and fundraising. In 2012, she and her husband Marcus relocated to Miami, FL where she serves as a founding member of Rialto Developer Capital, a real estate private equity group and subsidiary of the world’s largest home builder, Lennar Homes. Her passions are charity and travel. Since a young age, she has actively supported children with disabilities. Most notably, she served as President and Founder of the Dallas collegiate chapter of Best Buddies, a non-profit organization in support of young adults with mental disabilities. She also spent extensive time in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador where she taught English to elementary school students.
HANS PETTER HØEGH
Hans Petter Høegh was born in Oslo in 1961 and holds a degree in business and finance from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He is currently Executive VP at Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Group, a shipping and investment group where he works with business development, strategy and finance. He is also responsible for the group’s real estate investments and serves on the board of several real estate and investment companies. Hans Petter has previous experience from various CFO and finance positions in shipping-, telecom-, aerospace – and investment banking companies. Hans Petter is married and has three children. He is working for ABLF Inc’s school program with fundraising in Norway.

Trond Jensen was born in 1953 in Oslo, Norway. After receiving a B.A. in economics from the University of California in San Diego, he began his professional career in the field of international banking in Caracas, New York, and finally in Miami where he has lived since 1985. In 1992, Trond started his own company, Sigurd Jensen Co., and has since developed an impressive structure of subsidiary companies in the field of farming logistics and a global fresh food sales organization with the brand name Chestnut Hill Farms. Trond was appointed Honorary Consul General for Norway in Miami in 2003 and he is an active board member of various charitable organizations. Victoria Sutherland is an artist, living and working in Los Angeles, California. She attended University of Denver, World Campus Afloat, Art Center College of Design and continued her art education at The Art Studio in Venice, California. Victoria’s art can be found in a myriad of public and private collections internationally. Victoria also sits on the boards of The Three Sisters Foundation and The Every Child Foundation.
